When you picture St. Lucia what do you see? Exactly! I see the picture above. St. Lucia is located in the turquoise seas of the Caribbean drenched in year round sunshine and with temperatures soaring into the high 80’s all year round it makes this island a must see destination. The Caribbean is a popular destination with in its own right but St’ Lucia stands out from the rest with glorious sandy beaches, lush rain forests and 5 star luxury resorts to name but a few. Located in the Eastern Caribbean just across the sea from Barbados makes island hopping very easy, maybe you could do a twin centre holiday? Or if you have fallen in love with this island then simply sit back, relax and soak up the sunshine with a cocktail of course. The north of the island boasts a very impressive modern marina full of sea front bars and excellent restaurants. Soufriere located in the south of the island has more of the traditional Caribbean vibe with pretty little villages, fish fry up stalls on the beach or barbeque stalls on the road side.

The capital of St. Lucia, Castries is a popular area to visit and also houses a cruise port where many of the cruise lines dock into, from here many people will have the added  advantage of one of many shore excursions to visit one of the many sights this stunning island has to offer. From champagne sunsets, beautiful palm fringed beaches, wonderful mountains, delicious dining, award winning spas and world class diving, there is something for everyone.
