From now and until September this year the Southampton based Crown Princess will be sailing to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe on seven and 14 night durations.

Announcing its full entertainment programme it has launched a Last night of the proms celebration which is a first for Princess Cruises.

Also throughout July in conjunction with the Discovery Channel they will be holding a themed activity, marking shark week.

With guest performances lined up to include Ria Jones who’s best known for her West end musicals, the Hollies Peter Howarth and Leanne Mitchell who was the former winner of the TV show the Voice.

That’s not all, pop concerts will be shown on both the big and small screens featuring Lady Gaga , Annie Lennox and good old Peter Gabriel

Now for the best bit, the sporting events. Available to watch in your stateroom or on the top deck ‘’Movies under the Stars ‘’ cinema screen you will be able to watch Premier league and Championship football matches as well as the Ryder cup and Wimbledon tennis.

To add to all this several UK TV Channels will also be added, this is a first for a Princess Cruise ship – including ITV Sky news and Sky Sports as well as recent films.

On top of all this, special themed food and drink will be served to complement special occasions and sports events. For example a glass of Pimm’s and strawberries go very nicely whilst watching a game of tennis on the big screen.

A first also for a Princess UK ship is her guest speaker programme.

Guests include the brilliant former snooker player John Virgo to the likes of Pete Best who is better known as the Original drummer of the Beatles, Graham Gooch OBE and Edwina Curry plus many more.

Also why not drop in on Paul Burrell or better known for being the butler of the late Princess Diana and his hilarious time on I’m a Celebrity get me out of here. After a 45 minute slot the guest speakers will be available for book signings and the odd photo or two. Some of the celebrity guests will also be judges on ‘’ The Voice of the Ocean’’ which is based on ITV’s singing competition ‘’The Voice’’.
