MSC Magnifica boasts 16 decks which feature a wide range of restaurants, bars, pools and entertainment facilities. A warm and friendly service is offered from the multilingual, qualified staff.
Bars and Lounges include a Coffee Bar and an Ice Cream Bar, as well as a Music, Piano and Show Bar. Drinks can be sipped around the pool at the Outdoor Pool Bar, or guests can head to the indoor covered pool
Restaurants and dining options ensure everybody is well catered for, sample the self-service buffet option, included in the cruise fare, or for a more formal setting for dinner, guests can choose between two dining times at the main restaurant, altogether there are 5 restaurants onboard with a small cover charge for the speciality dining. With no fewer than 12 bars, from laid back to a more lively atmosphere
Entertainment onboard is diverse and features over 20 hours of spectacular shows in the onboard theatre, and the music lounge. She features an onboard casino, and themed parties, and creative workshops and classes such as art, astronomy, dancing and wine – tasting. Also onboard is a panoramic disco, and a 4D cinema
Fully equipped gyms are offered, and personal trainers are ready to provide expert help and advice, whilst up on deck, a jogging track offers guests the chance to breathe in the sea air. Indoor and outdoor tennis, as well as volleyball or basketball, squash and mini golf are all onboard MSC Magnifica
Children’s facilities are fun, flexible and appeal to all ages. Kids clubs cater for five age groups, and offer dedicated children’s activites, with exclusive areas onboard, that are designed and equipped with partners Chicco and Lego
Day one – Embark MSC Magnifica, boarding begins at 13:00, for an estimated departure at 20:00
Day two – 07:00 arrive into Le Havre, France. Le Havre is the major port for Northern France in the Normandy region and is the meeting point for the Seine River and the English Channel. Le Havre features many landmarks including architecture, built from reinforced concrete by the famous Belgian architect Auguste Perret, after Le Havre was heavily destroyed in World War 2. Depart 20:00
Day three – Leisurely day at sea. Experience everything MSC Magnifica has to offer
Day four – 09:00 arrive into La Coruna, Spain. La Coruna is situated in the region of Galicia, in northwest Spain. Famous for the Tower of Hercules, a Roman lighthouse that offers views out to the coast. Depart 17:00
Day five – 09:00 arrive into Bilbao, Spain. Bilbao is an industrial port city and is located in northern Spain, and is fringed by lush mountains, whilst downtown Bilbao is home to many skyscrapers. A popular attraction is the Guggenheim Museum, designed by Frank Gehry and features contemporary and modern pieces of art and exhibits, however before entering the museum, take a moment to admire the curvatious titanium clad exterior. Depart 18:00
Day six – 08:00 arrive into Le Verdon – Sur – Mer, France. Le Verdon Sur Mer is located on Pointe de Grave estuary, and is located close to large vineyards. Dubbed as one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world, Cordouan is well worth a visit. Le Verdon Sur Mer, is also ideally situated close to Bordeaux, around 64 miles away. Depart 17:00
Day seven – Leisurely day at sea.
Day eight – 14:00 arrive into Amsterdam. The capital of the Netherland’s, Amsterdam is famous for its canals, and narrowly built houses that date back to the 17th century. Amsterdam is also home to the Van Gogh Museum, located in the Museum District, and pieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer are placed in the Rijksmuseum. Bicycles are the main form of transportation in Amsterdam, and bicycle hire is easily available in Amsterdam. Other attractions include the world-famous flower markets, and the Ann Frank Museum. Into the night, Amsterdam comes alive, with the lively cafes and bars. Departs 07:00 the following morning
Day nine – 07:00 arrive Hamburg, Germany. A major port city located in northern Germany, Hamburg joins to the North Sea, via the Elbe River. Hundreds of canals cross Hamburg, and vastareas of parkland cover the city. The old town, Altstadt showcases the famous St. Michaels Church from the 18th century. Departs 21:00
Day ten – Leisurely day at sea.
Day eleven. 08:00 arrive back to Southampton
Prices lead in at £799.00 per person, based on 2 sharing on the 24th May 2018, based on a balcony cabin
Children up to the age of 12 can travel for just £99.00
