Norwegian Cruise Line have announced that they will be offering en extra thirty three itineraries to their expanding Cuba Programme
An additional 33 round trip itineraries from Miami through to the culture soaked island of Cuba, in March 2018
Norwegian Sky will play host to the extra sailings. Duration’s will be based on four night sailings and will showcase an overnight stop in Cuba’s capital, Havana and will feature a visit to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line’s own private island
Norwegian Cruise Line’s currently offer thirty itineraries to Cuba in 2017, and are set to increase to sixty six sailings on 26th March 2018
Cuba is a choice destination for 2017, with most cruise lines featuring at least 1 Cuban cruise itinerary. The Chairman for Norwegian Cruise Line, Frank Del Rio, is himself from Cuba, and he believes that the island will be a strong contender within the cruise market
Norwegian Sky was built in 1999, and refurbished in 2013 and 2017, she has a guest capacity of 2,004 and 899 crew. She offers twelve dining options, and eleven bars and lounges and a vast array of sports and recreational facilities, including two swimming pools, hot tubs, a jogging / walking track and fitness centre. After dark, Norwegian Sky features live shows, an on board pub, a comedy club and a casino to name but a few!
The announcement followed the recent changes that Norwegian Cruise Line have become a Premium All Inclusive Cruise Line across all of the fleet, for all destinations, and will now included all alcoholic and soft drinks and gratuities
