An increasingly popular cruising destination, is Southeast Asia. Cruise lines are becoming more adventurous and diverse with their offerings on their itineraries
If it’s your first time visiting Southeast Asia, or perhaps you want visit the many delights and sights that Southeast Asia has to offer, then more often than not, a cruise is an excellent option. The most popular option is the Singapore to Hong Kong itinerary.
Singapore is an excellent embarkation destination, and is easily reached from major UK airports, either direct, or indirect. Singapore is a bustling and modern city that offers a vibrant and exciting insight to Southeast Asia, combining an exotic food scene with a vast array of shopping malls, to the smaller market stalls.
The more classic cruising itineraries, include ports of call in Thailand, including the bustling Bangkok, or the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Itineraries will often head towards Vietnam, featuring ports of call such as Halong Bay, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and for Saigon, it’s Phy My.
As you near to the end of your culture enriched Southeastern Asia itinerary, you will sail past the high rise buildings that line Hong Kong harbour
Other options include cruise itineraries that depart from Singapore and sail towards India, Sri Lanka, even as far as Australia!
