Last year I cruised with Azamara, being the sister company to Celebrity I knew I was in for a treat. My only worry was that there are only 2 ships in their fleet and carrying less than 800 passengers I was a little worried as I have only cruised on much larger ships

Worried I need not have been, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the ship was beautiful. Yes it was smaller than I was used to but as both ships the Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest have both been refurbished they looked brand new.

What struck me most was the opulence of the public areas, the plushness of the sunbeds around the pool and the food in the restaurant was a culinary delight.

Azamara are all inclusive meaning that when you book a cruise with them not only are they full board you also have drinks and gratuities included in your price. Wines differ every day these were changed to compliment the meals in the dining room, and I had fun working my through the cocktail menu, not to mention complimentary bottled water from the bars, speciality coffees and a wide selection of spirits….think how much that saves you?

What struck me the most was that cruising with Azamara felt almost like being at home, a very nice home I will say. Both the staff and passengers were so friendly it seemed like you had always known them. For a 5 star cruise line they are so relaxed and informal not in a bad way but in a way that makes you feel like you have all the time in the world. They specialise in longer time in ports and overnight stays, and you also get to go on a complimentary Azamazing excursion, these are put on in partnership with local people and produce so you get an to experience something unforgettable in a fabulous atmosphere

For example Cruise Club UK have a fantastic offer in our latest brochure featuring Nice and the Monaco Grand Prix. Azamara have offered cruises to tie in with the Grand Prix for years and this will be a cruise not to be missed. I actually stopped in Monaco and you can even see the racecourse from the ship, what more could you ask for? Well our cruise includes tickets to the Grand Prix in our package so you get to experience the atmosphere first hand

Not only that you also get 2 free nights hotel stay in Nice so you can spend your time sightseeing, shopping, soaking up the atmosphere, and even perhaps mingling with a few celebrities
