After sailing on other Royal Caribbean ships, I thought I would try the ship known as the largest in the world The Allure of the Seas. I spent 7 nights on board whilst cruising the Caribbean out of Fort Lauderdale and WOW…….. I couldn’t fault the ship, staff or service in anyway. From the moment I arrived at the port everything ran like clockwork and I cannot complain about anything at all.

With 5,000+ guest capacity on board, I was surprised to find the embarkation process the quickest and easiest I have ever experienced with any cruise ship. after entering the terminal, we were checked in and on board well within 30 minutes.

Arriving on board I was greeted by the super fantastic Royal Promenade which is home to plenty of bars, shops and also places to grab a snack!

One evening on board the ship on each cruise, a Parade through the promenade is organised by the staff on board and is so much fun! Lots of music and dancing from all, this becomes a ‘street party’. This is all recorded on film and is then broadcast over your stateroom TV so you can they have a look to see how bad you really were dancing!

The theme for the parade was, British Rock & Roll. This was so much fun and being predominantly Americans on board, they absolutely loved it!!! This really is a night you must get involved in.

With so much to do on board, I can honestly say 7 nights was just not long enough for me on board of this ship. Which means I now have to book another sailing on this ship 🙂

On the top deck of this ship, they have a Zip Line crossing over the Boardwalk – I can proudly say I took part and did this. After signing my waiver, getting all of the safety gear on which takes around 20 minutes, I was on the zip line for approximately 10 seconds. Hey, at least I can say I did it.

Like some of the other cruise ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet, they do have the Flowrider on board. In fact, they have 2 on board!!

Here are a few pictures I managed to take when I wasn’t too busy enjoying myself 🙂
