Norwegian Cruise Line will be reshuffling their ships around which will mean moving four of their biggest ships to new departure ports for the 2019 – 2020 season.
The changes are as follows: The Norwegian Bliss will move to New York, the Norwegian Epic will move to San Juan with the Norwegian Breakaway sailing from Port Canaveral and the Norwegian Getaway moving to New Orleans. This is following an announcement form Norwegian Cruise line stating that their biggest ships will be sailing around the Caribbean.

After 18 months in New York the Norwegian Escape will be returning to her original homeport of Miami in November 2019. Sailing out of Miami port the Norwegian Escape will be offering one week Western Caribbean cruises all the way through to April 2019.Before the repositioning takes place the NCL Escape will be operating four seven night return itineraries around Canada and New England. with calls in Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine; Saint John, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The Norwegian Dawn will be returning to Tampa offering one week Western Caribbean cruises from November 2019 up until March 2020.
The Norwegian Star is set to replace the Norwegian Sun is South America at the beginning of December 2019offering two week sailings.
Repositioning from Miami to Port Canaveral in November 2019 the cruise ship will spend the winter season of 2019-2020 offering one week Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings which will depart every Saturday throughout.
The NCL Bliss which debuts in Seattle this coming Summer and then repositions in the autumn is gearing up for another move for the 2019-2020 winter period over to New York. Beginning in November 2019 the Bliss will be offering 18 different cruises starting from a seven day cruise taking in the Bahamas she will also be offering longer itineraries of 12 and 14 night’s sailings to the Southern and Western Caribbean. The Norwegian Gem will also be joining the Norwegian Bliss in New York as of December 2019.
Replacing the Norwegian Breakaway the NCL Getaway will be departing from New Orleans and will be offering a mixture of seven to 12 night cruises to the Western Caribbean as of November 2019.
For the first time the Norwegian Epic will be moving to San Juan from December 2019 – March 2020 making it the largest ship to sail from the Port of San Juan. Sailing to the Southern Caribbean offering cruises for seven to eleven nights the ports of calls will include Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Barbados, Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.
Together with these new repositioning’s Norwegian Cruise lines will still be offering their Premium drinks package and free gratuity offers on most sailings. For reduce prices Norwegian now also offer their Just Cruise campaign which allows the customers to opt out of the drinks package but will still receive the complimentary gratuities.
