Here at Cruise Club UK we thought wed share our to tips for cruise excursions from our expert cruise consultants. One of the most expensive things you will pay out for when cruising is SHORE EXCURSIONS, depending on your ports of call the costs can vary.

So you’ve booked your cruise and completed your on line check in, now comes the time to browse online what the cruise line has to offer. My advise, do your homework! Check out the places you want to experience within a group environment, also the tour duration and the most important thing: COST

I did a comparison based on the following:

Celebrity Eclipse 22nd May 2016 (currently our bestselling cruise)

14 Night sailing to Scandinavia & Russia

So to include 7 excursions in: Bruges, Berlin, Tallin, St Petersburg (visa cost included), Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen the cost is £550 per person

However the company we use came in at £420 per person, that’s a saving of £130 each! They offer 4/5/6 & 7 port packages, where if you buy in bulk you save money.
